Mills & Osborne signed photo signed 1978 FA Cup Final photo

Ipswich were considered underdogs, having been beaten 6–1 by Aston Villa in the league the previous Saturday and facing Arsenal's England striker Malcolm Macdonald, Ipswich won the match 1–0. Ipswich dominated the game, hitting the woodwork three times (including twice from John Wark) before Clive Woods and David Geddis combined to produce a chance for Roger Osborne, who scored with a left-foot shot. It remains Ipswich Town's only FA Cup triumph to date and they have not appeared in the final since. Here is a 16x12 photo dual signed by the Captain, Mick Mills & goalscorer, Roger Osbourne. The item comes with an Allstarsignings certificate of authenticity which will have photographic proof inserted into it.

Mick Mills signed UEFA Cup Final photo

Mills made his debut for the first team in 1966, aged just 17. Sir Bobby Robson appointed Mills as team captain in 1971 and so began a close working relationship between coach and skipper which was at the forefront of Ipswich's rise to the top of the game for a decade. In 1978 they reached the final where they beat favourites Arsenal 1–0 at Wembley. Mills, as captain, lifted the trophy - Ipswich's first major honour for 16 years. Ipswich, meanwhile, continued to hit high spots, finishing in the top five every year between 1978 and 1982, including a memorable season in 1981 which saw them just miss out on First Division and FA Cup glory, but won the UEFA Cup, which Mills duly collected after victory over AZ 67 Alkmaar in the final. Here is a 10x8 photo of Mick Mills, recieving the UEFA Cup trophy after Ipswich's 1981 victory. The photo was personally signed by Mick in Birmingham, 20th November, 2010, at a signing session carried out and attended by Allstarsignings. The item comes with an Allstarsignings certificate of authenticity which will have photographic proof inserted into it.
